The white working class are known for their bigotry and hatred of all things foreign. The likes of Farrage, Rees Mogg, Bone and Johnson not only lied through their teeth to them, by appealing to their racist world view but also made a killing from Britain, voting to leave the EU.

Now, with the ongoing sleaze of Cameron’s involvement with Greensill and Boris Johnson’s incendiary comments about the bodies piling high, it’s clear that it wasn’t Jeremy Corbyn gaslighting the British people but Boris Johnson and the conservatives.

The suffering of the poorest in Britain is all of their own doing — cutting their noses to spite their collective faces.
