Imperialism is well and alive with us today, think of America’s botched intervention in Venezuela, Iraq and Libya.

Multi national corporations have picked up where likes of Britain and France left off in the 60s and 70s. I hate to be the one to give you a history lesson here but the Belgian Congo, since independence has known no peace; from Mobutu Sese Seko to Laurent Kabila to Joseph Kabila to the current guy.

If we must debate these issues, let’s be as kaleidoscopic as possible.
