Absolutely right.

Although micro by definition means “short” or “extremely small,” these types of aggressions, when compounded over time — via actual occurences or consciously remembering or reliving traumatic occurences — can have a brutal, cumulative effect on both the individuals who are the targets of microaggressions and entire socially marginalized groups.
