Am I Alone In Wanting Israel’s Unmitigated Defeat Against Iran?

Well over a year ago, fourteen months ago to be precise, I wrote a piece regarding Israel’s overplaying its hand in the Middle East by pre-emptively attacking Iran.
At the time, Joseph Biden was President of The United States of America and Donald Trump had just secured the nomination of the Republican party.
Since then so much has changed in the American polity with Trump winning quite handily against his democratic opponent and taking the axe to everything in sight.
But what hasn’t changed is the carte blanche which was extended by the previous administration to Netanyahu.
In the last 48 hours, we have seen hits on Tehran’s nuclear facilities and Iran’s reprisal attacks.
This may or may not provoke yet another global conflict, but it is worth revisiting my previous work on this subject, in which I expressed my reasons for wanting to see Iran emerge victorious.
A year on, our would feels infinitely unsafe and unstable.
