The twenty-first century was supposed to be an era of progress, but we’re moving backward. It’s hard to believe we’re still having to defend women’s rights to abortion. We’re still having to defend vaccines, and a minimum wage of $15 that’s already outpaced by the rising cost of living. We’re still having to explain why people should have access to healthcare and food, or a decent place to live, or why climate change matters.
