Andi Owen is the CEO of a high end furniture company — MillerKnoll.

Ms. Owen has been feted in her industry as one of the most creative and was also lauded for her handling of business during the dark days of the pandemic, when issues of social justice and race came to the fore.

But Ms. Owen has been making the news lately for all of the wrong reasons.

In a video which has gone viral several million times over, we meet Ms. Owen mouthing off senseless platitudes to staff whose bonuses were cancelled.

The footage which ran for a minute and a half, also featured our protagonist talking about the need for kindness and respect.

But what would later come to light was that while MillerKnoll staff bonuses were cancelled, their CEO received her bonus in full.
