The name on everyone’s lips is Andrew Tate.

It is no exaggeration to state that his notoriety has gone up a billion fold since his arrest by the Romanian police, a few weeks ago.

And why is that?

His exclusive fan base.

To millions of male teenagers in the west, they love Tate.

They lap up everything that the guy has got to say and it is no stretch to describe him as their patron saint.

But to a middle-aged bloke like me, I honestly cannot get my head round his popularity and appeal; Tate is Trump on steroids and I have a visceral loathing of the guy.

But that’s precisely the point.

Chaps like Andrew tate aren’t meant to appeal to my demographic.

Why?

The expectation is that we should be much more mature and discerning; that we can see through the facade and spin that is at the heart of everything that Tate stands for.

But it must be said that there is such an unbridgeable chasm between expectation and reality for a lots of men in my age bracket.
