Bootstrapping Founders Are The GOATs and MVPs of The Tech World
No one can convince me otherwise.
I am a founder of an Insurance start-up.
And I am building what could potentially be a paradigm shifting, era defining insurance platform for folks who are overlooked by mainstream society.
And my life has been a living hell for a while now.
Yes I write a great deal on this platform on subjects as diverse as politics, economics, history, philosophy and religion while managing a few infrastructural projects to generate a certain amount every month to fund my passion, life as a founder is impossibly difficult.
Scratch that.
Life as a Black founder is incredibly and unforgivingly brutal.
Recently, I read an article in our beloved space in which a (white ) writer was complaining about having to spend a certain amount on laptops.
His piece was to all intents and purposes quite self-indulgent and thoroughly lacking in self-awareness.
In my response to his post, I wrote that I could work miracles with a fraction of the money to which he’s had access.
