Brexit and The Summer Holiday Chaos
The failure of Britain’s independence from the EU is becoming more apparent with every passing day.
It’s that time of the year again.
A time when most people look forward to getting away to recharge their batteries and making the most of decent weather.
But summer 2022 has been the most chaotic in recent history.
While a return to pre-pandemic numbers may be a part of the reason for the luggage pile up at our airports, the one thing that stubbornly refuses to go away is Brexit.
And why am I still banging on about Brexit, despite the umpteen articles that I have generated on this subject?
Because of the unfolding problems across various sectors of UK plc.
Since hard Brexit went out live in January 2021, we have had to contend with all sorts of economic problems; energy and food bills have risen exponentially with vast numbers making the choice as to whether to eat of heat.
And now our problems have extended into travelling to mainland Europe.
For those who have tried venturing out of the country to get to France through our borders in Dover, they have been made aware of the full repercussions of voting to leave the European Union.
