The empty shelves and the sewage filled rivers represent our new reality.

That Brexit has failed abysmally is no longer in dispute.

It is all too clear, even to those who voted to leave the EU.

And what we have seen in the last six years is the United Kingdom of Great Britain giving way to an entirely different country: Brexitland.

Brexitland?

Yes indeed.

A land where its supply chain has completely collapsed with supermarkets unable to bring in goods from the continent, owing to the stringency of the post-Brexit agreements signed by the leadership of the Conservatives.

A land in which our rivers are fully contaminated with sewage, owing to the unwillingness of the water companies to act ethically and an even greater reluctance of the ruling party to hold their friends in the business world accountable.

A land where energy firms are declaring vast sums in profits at a time when tens of millions cannot afford to heat their homes.

And a land where food supplies are fast dwindling, owing to the insistence of the political class on implementing Brexit, in a manner which is consistent with the demands of their puppet masters.
