3 min readDec 13, 2021

People are starting to wake up to profoundly stupid decision in voting for Brexit and the Conservatives.

This week makes it two years since Boris Johnson won the general election to implement Brexit.

Back then in December 2019, Corona virus was virtually known to most of the world and phrases which have now entered into public consciousness, such as “ social distancing, face masks and Lock down” which would go on to dominate our entire existence, were completely unheard of.

But since then, we have had to grapple with so much misery and our lives have changed beyond all recognition and I have listed a few below, just in case you needed reminding:

· The most Covid deaths in Europe

· Greatest economic hit among the most advanced countries

· The devastation of our farming and fishing industries

· £12 billion less trade per month

· Unseen levels of corruption at the highest levels of government

· Empty supermarket shelves

· Destruction of the National Health Service and social care

· Decline in the collective wealth of the poorest in society
