White America — rural, urban and suburban —had deep seated anxieties regarding the direction in which their nation was headed and they made the all-important decision to cast their votes with the candidate who spoke directly to them.
Crippling inflation —which was the inevitable outcome of pumping vast amounts of money into the system during Covid —was keenly felt by everyone — Black, Brown and white — and yet, the Republicans used diversity to galvanize its biggest demographic and this meant that the bi-racial woman from California, never stood a chance.
