Could Joe Biden Manipulate The Election Results Like Francis Underwood?

Does life imitate art or is it the other way around?
At this moment in time it is a bit difficult to tell.
As things stand, Joe Biden is set to lose the elections come November to the immediate successor — Donald John Trump.
But a day is a long time in politics, never mind five months and so much could happen between now and then.
The reason I have brought this up is that I have been rewatching the American version of the House of Cards. And it has been utterly compelling.
Niccolò Machiavelli’s The Prince is inaccessible to modern audiences, not least because of its prose, which most folks might find impossibly difficult to grapple with.
But House of Cards is on Netflix, which is largely accessible to people, even in the most remote parts of the globe.
And anyone who has seen the show will appreciate the extent to which the fictional president —Francis Underwood — was prepared to undermine his country’s democratic institutions to get elected and this happened by creating imagined enemies and exaggerating the threat of an imminent attack on American soil.
