We live in the age of toxic masculinity.

It isn’t hyperbole to state that toxic masculinity is something of a virus among young, middle aged and older men.

And what’s more, every institution in the west is affected by this contagion: The supreme court, congress, parliament, investment banks, gyms, nightclubs, and sports stadia have all been swept up in this madness.

Also, what we have seen over the last six years is the commodification of the very worst behaviour from menfolk.

As with these things, there have been some very big winners.

And this is where the likes of Donald Trump, Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate and to a much lesser degree, Jordan Peterson come in.

Millions of disaffected young men watched Trump during his 2016 run for the White house admitting to sexual assault of women in the past and openly disparaging women and being handsomely rewarded for it.

At a time when porn is so easily accessible to teenage boys on the internet, images of women being sexually humiliated has damaged these young malleable minds.
