Elon Musk Is The Liz Truss of Social Media and The Internet
History will remember the wealthiest man in the world as the great destroyer and not the great enabler.
When future generations are called upon to review the year 2022, they will write about the extraordinary events which took place in this particular year, which became the harbinger of the collapse of the social, political and economic order of that period in time.
They will write about the death of one of the best known monarchs in the history of the world —Queen Elizabeth II, about the academy awards in which a renowned actor struck a colleague in the face over his perceived insult to his nearest and dearest.
They will write in a great deal of detail, the decision by the Russian dictator to invade the neighbouring country and the huge toll that this step had on the global economy, ranging from the arbitrary increase in energy costs to China’s attempted invasion of tiny Taiwan.
They will cast a critical eye on Great Britain’s unravelling, when it decided to double down on its commitment to making Brexit work, when the ruling party selected an untested, third rate politician — Liz Truss — and its deleterious effect on the economy, when she made the fatal gamble to award tax cuts to the very wealthiest in society.
