Elon Musk is probably the most extraordinary figure of the 21st century, three decades in.

If you weren’t familiar with the dude prior to 2022, his acquisition of Twitter did more than ensure that his influence on our lives was beyond doubt.

That we all live in an Elon Musk world is an incontestable fact.

And a scary one too.

Since his purchase of the social media giant last year, we have been embroiled in two major wars, which are showing no signs of abating any time soon.

And his role in aiding and abetting the current negativity is worth scrutinizing.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza has attracted far more coverage than any other topic over the last month. With the mainstream news channels loath to provide objective news and analysis, millions of folks have turned to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads and TikTok for the latest information.

And these players have taken full advantage of this sea change in different ways.

Over the course of the last few weeks, we have seen Musk actively promote far right conspiracy views on his platforms.
