2024 is rapidly turning out to be unlike anything we have ever seen before.

Thus far, we have had general elections in India and South Africa, with the incumbents —Narendra Modi and Cyril Ramaphosa — losing their majorities, thereby forcing them to form coalitions with players whom their natural supporters would readily repudiate and denounce.

In the United Kingdom, it’s campaign season ahead of the 4th of July.

The Conservatives are set to post their ever worst results with its far right rivals — Reform UK — set to supplant the ruling party in Westminster.

Continent wide, there was the recently concluded European parliamentary elections, which is having major ramifications for the economic and political stability of the EU.

Germany, Italy and France have all returned extreme right wing parliamentarians to Brussels — -a step which will ensure that the foreign policy of the European Union is avowedly racist.

In a fit of pique and panic, the French president made the decision to dissolve the country’s parliament, while urging his compatriots to reject Marie Le Pen at the voting booth.
