Given that I don't have too many followers, one has to keep scraping for as long as possible!

First, the more followers you have, the more feeds you will appear in. And as follower counts rise, your reputation looks more solid and indicates quality content. But I have no idea how to increase followers except by writing well on interesting, useful topics.
