We are all guinea pigs.

Every single one of us, at the best and worst of times, are lab rats in this business of extreme exploitation.

We have completely normalized and accepted profound inequality.

And you can argue to a point that it isn’t race, culture or nation specific given that the streets of Johannesburg, Lagos, Mumbai, Karachi, Dakar, Dhaka, London, Birmingham, Miami, Chicago, Adelaide, Vancouver, Toronto, Naples, Bavaria, Oslo, Tirana, Marseilles, Paris, Rome, Budapest and Athens are shaped or some might say disfigured by extreme disparities.

But there’s strong evidence to suggest that it is baked into our system.

The west, which has always seen itself as vastly incomparably superior to everyone else, reflects the very worst of this malaise and it has well over three hundred years of competitive advantage.

Aside from the grand exception of Marxian theory, every other western economic ideology has ever been about the transfer of wealth from the haves to have-nots.
