Hope John Welford Is Ok?
In search of a brilliant writer..
As stated umpteen times by this author and countless writers, the Medium writing community is an such an extraordinary space, which allows everyone to thrive.
This enabling characteristic has made it possible for us to meet talented folks from disparate parts of the world and learn about their amazing stories and lives.
And it has also made it possible to learn a little about those who reside in the same country as you.
And one of those remarkable individuals is Mr. John Welford
The gentleman in question is in his 70s and according to his bio worked as a librarian and currently resides in Leicestershire.
Several months ago, the subject of this article, with the stoicism which Brits of a certain generation can summon, wrote about his cancer diagnosis and the incredible support which he’s had from his sister and spouse.
Writers, for some reason or another, tend to have periods when they are absent from the platform and this has been the case with a few of my favourites — Michelle Scorziello, Argumentative Penguin, Sylvia and a host of others.
With Mr. Welford, I hope that he is very much with us and his recovery is going according to plan.
