How Is It That Julian Assange Gets To Go To Prison and George Bush and Tony Blair are Free Men?
Western Imperialism and corruption on my mind
The mass murder of non-white people is not a crime. You can slaughter Pakistanis, Iraqis, Yemenis and Syrians in their millions and never have to account for your misdeeds.
The lives of Pakistani, Yemenis, Afghans, and Iraqis do not and have never mattered; certainly to those of us who exist in the west.
If these killings were indeed seen as a heinous crime or worse, genocide, then the likes of Barack Obama, George Bush and Tony Blair should be made to stand trial for their part in making the world a much more unstable place than it has ever been in the last fifty years.
And yet we have Julius Assange, the man who exposed our democratically elected leaders as being profoundly useless and corrupt, being the one who’s more likely to spend the rest of his life behind bars.
How does this make any sense?
A few days ago, a high court judge overturned the judgement made earlier, to rule that Assange may be extradited to America to face charges for his role in releasing huge amounts of information to the wider public on America’s role in Afghanistan and Iraq.
