How Many Men Would Have Done What Simon Rex Did For Meghan Markle?

That the British tabloids hate Meghan Markle is common knowledge.

That its visceral loathing of the first black member of the royal family has shaped the manner in which they have approached everything related to Ms. Markle is completely beyond dispute.

That the British press is profoundly racist and have muck raked on the Duchess of Sussex, at every turn, is something that we have had to come to terms with in the most brutal way imaginable. We saw this in the way that they got to Thomas Markle to spill bits of information on his daughter, not too long ago and the subsequent lawsuit which she won against the British newspaper — Daily mail — last year.

So it didn’t come as a surprise when the ‘Red Rocket’ actor, Simon Rex came out to say that he had been offered $70,000 by the British tabloids, to lie that he had slept with Meghan Markle.

According to Simon Rex:

I was broke as fuck! I really needed the money. But I will be on food stamps before I do that.

In today’s world, where loyalty is non-existent and our need for money trumps pretty much everything else, how many people would have done what Simon Rex did?
