Yes, some will say that America has made a lot of ‘mistakes’, but that they’ve gone to great lengths to correct them. To that I say, not only is the correction incomplete (as many injustices and inequalities STILL persist), but the strides that have been made were made because of us… because Black people insisted on change and would not let America rest without giving us our full rights.
