Is it because I have the audacity to recognize that the subject of my most popular piece is close to many people’s hearts and requires in depth writing? It is NOT a “fluff piece,” unlike so many on Medium that have promising titles and end up having very little substance at all. (I’m not saying all curated pieces are like that, but too many are.)
