I do agree with you.

This is a shame, because every writer could become a better writer, but this can only happen if someone else points out where improvements could be made. I have long been in the business of analysing poetry and spotting where it has faults, but making those suggestions has got me into trouble in the past — not for pointing to the faults, but merely for daring to suggest that they were there in the first place!
