I find your article completely disagreeable.

You need to broaden the scope of white working class racist behaviour to understand how insidious it is and how Middle class embrace of football helped stamp a huge out the absolutely disgraceful behavior on the terraces and abroad.

It’s fair to say that Thactherism helped to disintegrate the old class structures in Britain, Barrow boys made a fortune in the city, the expansion of companies like McDonald’s propelled lots of white working class males into middle and senior management.

Those who were left behind by the deindustrialization and globalization in the North of England were the very ones who voted for brexit.

I find that every class in Britain has its implicit biases, prejudices and racist attitudes.

But to seek to defend the white working class of their ugly prejudices by pointing the finger in the other direction is something that i am unprepared to accept any where and certainly not on medium….
