Do I think that David Oyelowo who is married to a non Black woman could appreciate the complexity of Martin Luther King?
I am not so sure.
But then it must be pointed out that Denzel Washington had played a Black Brit in a British film titled for Queen and Country. Do check it out.
Those who thrive the most are the ones who grounded in the African-American experience and this is where the lens of white supremacy must be cast aside for its own good.
