I have been meaning to read this post for a very long time and was able to do so only now.

Oris is absolutely spot on in his assessments.

As a reverse returnee-relocated to Lagos from London-I have seen life take a tumble in the last 10 years.

And it is extraordinary cos I am also a tech guy, project manager and a writer too.

And I don't see how the Nigerian literary scene will survive the current social economic turmoil.

And this is precisely why it is fair to pronounce Nigerian writing as dead.
