I profoundly agree. This is exactly why I hate big organizations...

Companies have mission statements. Companies have KPIs. The problem is, business isn’t fixed. A strategic goal that’s agreed upon by everyone after eleven meetings could be irrelevant in thirty days. Toeing the company line means ignoring change.
