I quite agree....

My freelance career has been great, but it’s been hard during the pandemic, as a lot of my regular clients stopped commissioning. The relentless pitching of story ideas into a void, where responses are few and far between, is hard. I don’t mind earning a bit less per story, if I can just write. That’s where the Medium model works beautifully.
