Niharikaa Kaur Sodhi wrote a powerful article in which she expressed her indignation at being nickeled and dimed by some of her clients. The part when she detailed how a client offered her a paltry $1,356 to ghostwrite his book because “it’s a lot of money in Indian rupees” really struck a chord with me.
