If This New Government Does One Thing, It Will Forever Be Remembered..
The United Kingdom and the European Union.
The last four years will go down as one of the worst periods in the life of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
And no, I do not seek to downplay the end of the 19th century, when child labour and prostitution was quite rife(and perfectly legal) or the first part of the 20th century when fewer than 20 percent of the general population were in education until the age of 16 or the 1970s,when we had three days of electricity supply and the unions had brought the country to its kneels.
And we should never forget the embarrassment of going to the International Monetary Fund for money, when we became incredibly broke.
But what the makes the post-pandemic era quite special was the degree to which our political overlords were prepared to do the bidding of their wealthy friends and shaft everyone else.
If you were politically unsophisticated prior to Brexit, chances are quite high that you are extremely conscious now, fully cognizant of how the world works, with the capability of making informed choices.
And the collective change in mindset was the backdrop to the general elections which took place on the 4th of July.
