Or was it staged?
The 13th of July 2024 will forever be remembered as the day that Donald John Trump won the presidential elections.
Millions of people across the world will have seen the footage of shots ringing out at the rally in Philadelphia, with former president sustaining a graze to the ear.
But we must ask why the 20 year old would be assailant, who had his target in his sights, managed to miss?
Assailants didn’t miss Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Robert F. Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, Medgar Evers and scores of other people who were at the heart of the movement for change in the 1960s.
The fact that Thomas Matthew Crooks was actually a registered Republican, took us all aback.
But it made absolutely no sense that someone that young and shambolic in his arrangements came so close to getting the most prominent fascist in the history of American democracy.
Was it staged? Were the secret services that useless and incompetent in failing to pick up the lone gunman? Or did the hit come from the highest echelons of the Democratic party?
