In Britain, The Time To Eat The Rich Is Upon Us

I am extremely angry.

Over the course of my time writing in this space, I must say that this is the angriest that I have ever been.

Why?

It certainly wasn’t hyperbole when I wrote that life in Britain is as bad it gets; in the last two years alone, millions have seen their collective wealth plummet under the Conservatives since Brexit became a political and economic reality.

And speaking of Conservatives, one did dominate the headlines throughout last week.

Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Finance Minister)’s tax arrangements came under profound scrutiny like never before. Even though it is common knowledge that Britain’s finance minister is fabulously wealthy, stemming from his years working as a hedge fund manager and through his wife’s billionaire family, there were lots of things regarding Mr. Sunak, about which we knew nothing.

We got to learn about his elaborate non-domiciliary status, which shed light on the astonishing revelation that Sunak and his wife were US green card holders, which worked a treat in circumventing huge tax bills.
