In Britain, We Treat Pedophiles and Racists Better Than The Victims of Racism
My two cents.
Ngozi Fulani.
Up until three days ago, no one had heard of the name. But so much has happened in the last forty-eight hours.
The woman whose Twitter post on her traumatic encounter with Prince William’s godmother led to the palace insider’s resignation has been subjected to a torrent of racial abuse from the vast right-wing mob in Britain.
The forces of Conservatism operating in the nations’s media have dragged up everything from her birth name (Marlene Headley) to her previous tweets in support of Meghan and Harry and visits to the palace several years ago.
To them, it’s utterly unforgivable that a Black woman should have come out to speak about her dreadful experience at the hands of a woman, who had served as lady in waiting to the late Queen Elizabeth II for six decades.
To these bigots, Ngozi Fulani should have kept quiet.
Now compare her treatment with that of Prince Andrew.
