It was clear from the get go that Israel didn’t stand a chance.
Contrary to the nonsensical theories spouted by mainstream channels on both sides of the Atlantic, it was clear to see that the state of Israel was on a hiding to nothing and its sugar daddy had too much to lose going head to head with Iran.
A prominent pseudo-intellectual and Israeli apologist operating in this space had a lot to say about Iran’s isolation and its imminent defeat.
And in his recent comments on my last article, the extraordinarily egregious rebarbative sought to justify western hypocrisy with ‘failed states narrative’, as though nations of the global south had plenty of form, claiming moral superiority over everyone else, while stealing them blind and wiping off populations in their millions.
But the signs were clear to those with a few brain cells that Israel was firmly on the road to perdition in its fight against Iran.
Netanyahu's administration, acting by itself, could not expect to vanquish its biggest regional foe, and Trump, however supremely narcissistic and asinine, could see that his country had nothing to gain by waging war against Iran, given its parlous finances.
