Is Anyone Still Wondering Why The Police Shouldn’t Be Defunded?

Another mass shooting took place in America took place days ago.

And yet again, the victims were all too familiar; beautiful innocent children who have had to pay the highest price imaginable.

Lives ruined and as usual, the same old platitudes from the Republicans about the mental health of the shooter and nothing about the root cause of these spate of shootings.

But this was an incident with a twist.

How so, I hear you ask?

The role of the police in unwittingly aiding and abetting the shooter.

The officers waited for a good 35–60 minutes before stepping into the school premises, while the children bled out.

Some officers were more concerned with getting their children out of the school before protecting the lives of those most vulnerable.

Threatening to arrest and taze parents who dared to protest the lack of movement from the officers.

And when faced with overwhelming evidence of incompetence, what did our police friends do?

Lie.

They lied through their teeth about the timelines.
