If you are a boxing fan, you will have read about the fight between Connor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr being called off.
The cancellation came about when Benn Jr tested positive for drugs last week.
To those who know a thing or two about British boxing in the twentieth century, the importance of this fight between the progeny of two great pugilists would not have been lost on them.
Eubank and Benn Sr had gone head to head in the 1990s and you get the distinct impression that the latter is still smarting from the outcome of those fights.
Benn carries a grudge from then till now.
While Eubank Sr. seems a much calmer and philosophical guy these days.
It is also worth pointing out that Eubank Sr had a problem with the fight and had made that clear from the outset. The former world champion thought that getting his son to lose a bit of weight to hit the required numbers made no sense. And it led to tensions between father and son.
