Is Britain and The World Ready For The Inevitable on Queen Elizabeth II?

Time to think the unthinkable.

A few days ago, her majesty was absent for the very first time at the remembrance Sunday event. The official line was that this was due to a “back sprain”.

A few weeks earlier, she was unable to make the opening of the COP 26 conference, owing to the doctor’s orders, but at least we got recorded message directly from her.

The longstanding royal journalist — Nicholas Witchell — had sounded the alarm only recently that there was some sort of cover up going on at the palace; that we weren’t being given a clear message on the health of the Queen and this was taken up another notch, when the serial agent provocateur —Piers Morgan — went on twitter to speak on Rupert Murdoch’s behalf, echoing the thoughts of millions of people.

For Prince Charles, who has spent his entire life waiting for this moment, one thinks that he must be the happiest man alive. His enhanced position will give him far more leverage than he has ever had in firing off letters to ministers of his government, lecturing them about their jobs.
