John Cusack: The Man Destroying The Moral Vacuousness of Celebrity Culture.

Of all the actors who have turned my world upside down, you won’t find me falling over myself to put John Cusack in my top 5.

Or in my top 10 either.

The Denzel Washingtons, Marlon Brandos, Al Pacinos, Robert De Niros and Morgan Freemans of this world will always command my attention.

But that’s not to say that I have never had time for the lead actor of High Fidelity.

There was this film he did in the mid 90s with Pacino — City Hall — in which he played an idealistic aide to the silver tongued mayor, who, along with a judge, was implicated in the cover up of the killing of a five year old boy.

While Pacino’s compelling oratory had you spell bound and glued to the screen, it was Cusack who was the conscience of this now forgotten movie, as he made the judge and politicians question their moral choices and ultimately decided not to work for corrupt and compromised mayor.

So why have I brought this up?

His position on Palestine.
