Paul Graham is a very powerful and wealthy individual.

For those who do not know, our protagonist is the founder of the venture capital firm known as Y-Combinator, which is responsible for a number of unicorns, such as: Airbnb, Stripe, Reddit, Coinbase and Dropbox.

Given his track record, people pay very close attention to everything that he says and does.

And yesterday, Paul Graham tweeted something very interesting.

In his head, no one could possibly send a proposal and use words like ‘delve’ to get their message across without seeking help from alternative sources.

His point was further buttressed when other folks said that they would assume that words such as ‘unlock, unleash, crucial, harness and foster’ were deployed with support from Open AI’s groundbreaking invention.

And as expected, it went down very badly with a particular demographic on twitter.

Nigerians, who above all else, pride themselves on their erudition and education, mounted several waves of attack on the multi-billionaire entrepreneur, stating that the manner of their education is precisely why they write the way that they do.
