It’s not about slapping a bumper sticker on your car that says you support the troops when you continually vote against their interests. It’s not about mouthing the national anthem or pledge to the flag, or white-washing history because it makes you uncomfortable to talk about the atrocities committed by your own government. And it’s definitely not about parading around in a glorified swimsuit on social media.
