You are right in pointing out the several bills that old Mitch failed to give any consideration to at all, in times past.

I am British by the way and a very keen follower of American politics; a lifelong follower, in fact.

But something about this feels different. The sabotage is coming from the Democrats; It feels like friendly fire, that it has taken extreme measures from the progressives to shine a light on what their fellow democrats should have prioritized before going for their summer holidays.
