Open AI has triggered the biggest technological revolution yet.

ChatGPT, has brought about a change that no one foresaw and in the twinkling of an eye, orchestrated a paradigm shift which has its closest rivals —Google and Apple — losing so much sleep.

Creative writing, which was once seen before as the most arduous and complex of tasks, has now been made to look ridiculously easy by artificial intelligence.

Bard — Which is Google’s answer to ChatGPT — doesn’t quite have the same feel as Open AI’s contraption and this was keenly felt when Open AI was down for a few days, late last week.

The stunning success of ChatGPT in a very short space of time has triggered a new AI arms race, which is threatening to destroy everything in its wake.

Contrary to what you are thinking, this sense of alarm isn’t driven by the loss of jobs to technology but by the very possibility of AI becoming a Frankenstein's monster.

And just as we have seen with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp becoming instruments of extreme right wing propaganda, there is the danger that Open AI, Google and everyone else playing a front seat…
