But the only obstacle to this idea is its profoundly narcissistic owner.

We all love, love.

Regardless of our pretensions, affectations, prejudices and whatever else which divides us, we all seek to love and be loved.

We can look beyond the cars, clothes and houses, safe in the knowledge that love is all that matters.

If I were to sound like a 1960s hippie or the Beatles for a minute, I would happily state there’s so much weight to the claim that ‘all you need is love’ and ‘make love not war’.

And our pursuit of the holy grail of life and living has all but changed in the last 15 years with the advent of social media.

It is no exaggeration to state that the likes of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have revolutionized our lives in ways that previous generations would have thought impossible.

It is easier to strike up conversations based on a mutual like of a subject online, without dealing with the embarrassment of rejected in real life.

So why have I written all this?

A Twitter page has been viewed a hundred million times in the last 48 hours.
