And here’s what it really looks like in December 2022

The streets have fallen silent.

The Pubs are closing at an unprecedented rate due to their inability to stay afloat with the soaring energy costs.

The foodbanks which vast numbers of the professional class have come to rely upon in recent years have completely run out of food supplies and are struggling to replenish from supermarkets with four days left till Christmas.

The paramedics whose presence we took for granted on our high streets have walked away from the frontline. And care homes are unravelling with far too many old people uncared for.

The nurses who have consistently placed the needs of their patients above theirs can no longer cope. And they have elected to take matters to hand by walking away to demand better working conditions.

At Northwick park hospital in Harrow, North-West London, you have dying patients all sleeping on the floor as hospital beds have become an unaffordable luxury in Brexit Britain.

At the Royal Free hospital in Hampstead, things aren’t much better; even though it is located in the leafy and wealthy suburb in North London with much better facilities, the strain of under investment is seriously starting to take its toll on everyone.
