The political expediency of having angry white men trumps everything else and we must all work to change that.

Angry white men are a constant in our societies.

Even in times of prosperity and economic stability, the political class have always needed to keep white working class men need angry as they can be as they fulfill a purpose which the rest of us have never fully appreciated.

It was true in the 1940s, 50s, 60s and it remains true today.

It’s not personal but systemic.

Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have all to varying degrees tapped into this phenomenon with aplomb.

But has anyone stopped to ask what it is about the never ending stream of angry white working class white men?

Could it be that they are so easy to gaslight and manipulate or could it be that the educational system has failed them more than they are prepared to admit?

I pose these questions as I am pointing the finger of blame at the educational system which has failed to educate millions of white working class men.
