The Furore Surrounding Debt Forgiveness Is a Brutal Reminder of Our Hatred of Poor People

My two cents…

We hate poor people.

We despise their very existence.

Despite the platitudinous nonsense about caring for military veterans, tax payers, and those needing support, these folks are invisible to all of us and we hate them more than we realize or appreciate.

This is true in the United States and even more so in Britain.

Governments will announce bail out packages in the region of trillions of dollars for failed banks, and no one will bat an eyelid.

We instigate wars all around the world, with no intrinsic benefit to the taxpayer, which run into billions of pounds and dollars without a word of dissent from our GOP friends.

On Biden’s watch, several tens of billions of dollars have been committed into ensuring that Zelenskyy destroys his country in order to have it ready for American interests in the coming years.

Britain’s outgoing Prime Minister — Boris Johnson — said a few days ago, that our country should do all that it can to support the Ukrainians in the war against the Russians, while conveniently forgetting that soaring energy bills are about to plunge 20 million people into poverty this winter.
