It’s completely uncharted territory
In one of my previous articles, I wrote about the empty supermarket shelves, which was brought about by the appalling Brexit deal of Boris Johnson’s conservatives. And the reaction to the article, varied from scepticism to acceptance and realization.
Scepticism, as a result of living in an area, that isn’t so densely populated, hence the fuller shelves and acceptance as a consequence of residing in an area, where the levels are perilously close to zero. Acceptance of the fact that availability of cheap labour now seems to have become a thing of the past. And the realization that empty shelves is fast becoming an inescapable reality of life in post-Brexit Blighty.
So it came as no surprise, when Nandos, the highly popular grilled chicken establishment announced that it was closing fifty (50) branches, due to massive supply chain issues.
As expected, the announcement from Britain’s foremost restaurant chain sent shock waves through the entire country.
