The wealthy 1 percent and their minions in the palace of Westminster are having a field day mocking the poor.
Not content with asset-stripping society’s most vulnerable, they have also proceeded to defecate on our dignity in the worst way imaginable.
Anyone who has a passing familiarity with the United Kingdom of Great Britain will know that it is a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary democracy.
But don’t ask the natives what that means, not least because of the fact that we do not have a written constitution like the Americans.
So why I have brought this up?
Our profoundly degenerate aristocracy and complicit bourgeoisie.
And the image above sums up the state of Britain today.
You have a King worth billions of pounds who was more than happy to pass the costs of the coronation to the already stretched taxpayer at a time when life couldn’t get any worse for millions of people.
If you noticed the lower end of the image, you will have seen the part where it was written that two million folks are struggling to pay their bills.
I should know, because I am one of the two million.
And those of us who are really struggling with the inordinately high cost of living are not looking forward to the coming weeks and months.
Autumn and winter.
We are in the final days of summer 2023.
The temperatures are sweltering, giving millions the wrong impression that it will carry on well into October.
But as the leaves begin to fall and autumn gives way to the freezing cold, so will our need to have the heating on and with that reality comes the extortionate bills from the energy companies, which will inevitably lead to millions having to borrow money from the banks and loan sharks to stay afloat.
With interest rates — APRs — in the triple digits, there is a fair chance that some folks will remain indebted for a very long time, if not for the rest of their lives.
